Atomium compound creates special conditions in areas of friction which leads to building up a protective metal layer. It covers worn surfaces, optimizes friction clearances, and retains dense oil film.

THIS ALLOWS YOU TO SOLVE THE FOLLOWING TASKS:

Restoration of the cylinders’ shape and a dense oil film on their surface seal the gaps between the compression rings and the cylinder walls. This prevents the breakthrough of gases and as the result increases compression and levels it among cylinders. Treatment with tribo-compound can not make the compression higher than the nominal level defined for this specific engine which makes the use of the composition safe.
Restoration of worn cylinders and piston rings is in fact the only stable and safe way to improve the tightness of their mating. It makes Atomium compound one of the best additives for low compression cases.

Treatment with the Atomium compound improves the mobility of piston rings (by cleaning up piston grooves) and narrows friction clearances between them and cylinders. This makes ring work more efficient and improves oil removal from the cylinder walls. Less oil gets into the combustion chamber and burns out there, especially at high engine speeds. Restoration of worn surfaces is a kind of “natural” way to fix oil burning root cause. There are additives for engine burning oil which are focused exactly on this problem. The Atomium compound proposes a decrease in oil consumption just as one positive effect in the row of others.

Remember – there might be other reasons for oil burning, for example - "hardened" valve stem seals. The most noticeable symptom of it is bluish smoke in the exhaust after an idle period. The tribotechnical compound is inactive with rubber details and unable to restore their functionality. 
The level of motor oil may also constantly go down in case of oil leakage. The most often reasons for it – cracks in the oil pan or even engine block as well as damages gasket. In these cases, you may easily find out leakage traces outside the engine or on the road under the car. If there are any you need urgent help from a professional car mechanic.

Noisy lifters and constant tapping sound from the engine valvetrain is a well-known symptom often named as “tappety engine”. It is the result of tappet plunger wear especially in case of low oil pressure and lack of lubrication over large mileage.
The protective layer created by the Atomium compound restores the shape of the plunger surface, optimizes the clearances, which prevents oil breakout and normalizes its pressure inside the mechanism. This ensures the normal work of the unit and stops tappet or lifter noise.
Note – Atomium compound is not a valve cleaning additive. Other products should be used to remove soot from the combustion chamber. 

There may be various reasons for a strange regular noise and vibrations of the engine. Not all of them may be fixed with an additive for engine noise. However, the most frequent cause is wear. It widens friction clearances which may lead to an iron “clunging” sound at engine start-up. It may lower compression in some cylinders, reduce the power of stroke and break the overall engine balance, so it starts to tremble. 
Restoring and equalizing the compression on the cylinders with the Atomium compound (as this was explained before) leads to the smooth operation of the engine. In addition, a thick and permanent oil film softens the contacts of metallic parts. All this allows to reduce or completely stop engine noise and vibrations.

The drop in oil pressure may be caused by an overall lack of oil in the system or by wear of the oil pump.
Restoring of the friction surfaces brings back outlet pressure of the pump to a nominal level and thus solves the problem. 

Restoring and equalization of compression provides better combustion of fuel. Thus less fuel is needed for the same amount of energy. 
Also, the dense oil film expands the hydrodynamic friction zone, which reduces friction losses by almost 50%. You may expect that engine treatment with the Atomium compound may reduce fuel consumption by 6-8% while you maintain your regular driving mode. The exact number depends on the initial state of your car and its mileage.
Note – Atomium compound is not a fuel additive, it doesn’t change fuel properties and neither changes combustion regimes. 

The normalization of compression provides a nominal power output of the engine. It is especially noticeable at acceleration when you need to raise up revs abruptly.
To get rid of the smoke from the exhaust, reduce its toxicity.
Recovery of compression and optimization of gaps in the cylinder-piston group ensures high-quality fuel combustion and reduce oil fumes. This reduces the content of unburned fuel particles and oil combustion products in the exhaust gases, which reduces their smoke and toxicity.

IN ADDITION TO THE SOLUTION OF ACTUAL PROBLEMS, THE USE OF TRIBO-COMPOUND ALLOWS YOU TO ACHIEVE PREVENTIVE EFFECTS:

The oil film retained by the protective layer on friction surfaces never flows down even during long idle periods. So the very first piston movements (as well as movements of other engine parts) at start up happen lubricated. It sufficiently reduces the wear of the engine. It is especially important in the cold weather when oil thickens in the pan and it takes more time to deliver it to the different engine sections.

Due to its structural features, the protective layer has increased microelasticity (it is deformed in a collision and then restores its shape instead of being destroyed) and microhardness (it requires more load to be destroyed). A denser oil film on the surface of the layer also reduces the direct contact of parts, withstands increased thermal and mechanical loads.
All this allows you to reduce engine wear. It is especially important for driving in traffic jams when the oil is overheated and liquefied due to the lack of cooling. And also at low speed maneuverштп when oil starvation occurs due to low pressure.

The oil film, held on the protective layer due to its structural features, is able to protect the engine from scuffing and jamming in the event of a sudden drop in oil pressure.
This allows you to avoid breakage if the oil loss or pressure drop was not noticed immediately. In addition, in some cases (depending on the design of the specific engine), this allows you to gently drive the car to the service station on your own.

SIGNS OF ENGINE WEAR

There are various signs of critical wear of engine components. As a rule, increasing wear is shown up by a decrease in engine dynamics, an increase of average fuel consumption in the same driving modes.
The following are some of the most common signs of wear and tear, in which the treatment of the engine with tribo-compound can significantly delay the need for repair:

There is a sound of "iron clang" when starting the engine

Due to wear of the cylinder walls, the gaps between them and the piston rings widen.
When starting the cold engine the gaps have not yet decreased due to the thermal expansion of the parts, the piston can make transverse movements accompanied by a shock. The rapid succession of blows merges into a general "ringing", the engine "rattles".
This is especially noticeable when starting in the cold weather when the gaps are widened even more. This indicates that the cylinder surfaces are very worn, and each such launch wears them even more.

There is constant blue smoke in the exhaust.

Blue smoke means that oil is constantly entering the combustion chambers, which indicates that there are widened gaps between cylinders and piston rings due to their wear.
Tribotechnical compound is able to restore worn surfaces, remove smoke, and reduce oil consumption. 

The engine started to work louder, harder, and there was a vibration.

These signs may indicate that the compression balance is disturbed.
Pistons in different cylinders are pushed with different forces, which disrupts the uniformity of the engine. If this sign appeared suddenly and sharply drew attention to itself, it is possible that there was a breakage – for example, a piston ring burst. If the vibration and noise increased gradually, imperceptibly, then most likely this is the result of wear. In this case, the Atomium tribotechnical compound will be able to restore the worn surfaces.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Under the influence of tribo-compound, a protective metal layer is formed on the worn parts, which is able to retain a dense oil film permanently.
Restored shape and dimensions + denser oil film on the surface -> normal operation of the engine units.
The Tribotechnical compound contains particles of the active mineral.
Getting into the zones of local contacts of friction surfaces with a temperature of more than 1000 degrees and high pressure the mineral particles activate electronic connections in the metal. It allows the surface to capture the metal from the engine oil, which is there as a product of engine wear. Gradually, a special protective layer is formed on the entire friction surface. It is stronger than a normal surface and can hold denser oil film due to its porous structure.
The micropores of the protective layer are filled with oil, which forms a continuous film under surface tension forces. Restoring the shape and more effective lubrication, allow the parts to perform their functions as it was laid down in the engine design, which leads to the restoration of the performance characteristics of all friction units.

Lubricant Composition Atomium  HPFP is designed for the treatment of High-pressure fuel pumps (HPFP), Common rail systems, Pump injectors of diesel engines.

The treatment to be made in 2 stages.

For the treatment use calculation in running hours (moto-hours): for generators and other stationary equipment 1 running hour = 50 km of run, for wheel tractors (and equipment) 1 running hour = 10 km of run, for a caterpillar special equipment 1 running hour = 5 km of run.

Precautions: Not harmful if applied correctly.

First aid:

• In case of contact with skin remove the material wash out with warm water, and then wash again with soap.
• In case of contact with eyes wash out eyes with a large amount of water.
• In case of swallowing consult a doctor.

APPLICATION MODE

The 1st stage: Pour Lubricant Composition Atomium  HPFP in a full fuel tank (but no more than 50-55 liters of diesel fuel in a tank) at the rate of 1 ml of the lubricant on 1 L of diesel fuel. Drive till complete fuel depletion in the fuel reservoir (before the indicator shows the minimum fuel rest). Make refueling without adding Atomium  HPFP, then run 2000-3000 km till the 2nd stage.

The 2nd stage: Pour Atomium  HPFP in a full fuel tank (but no more than 50-55 liters of diesel fuel in a tank) at the rate of 1 ml of Suprotec on 1 L of diesel fuel. Drive till complete fuel depletion in the fuel reservoir (before the indicator shows the minimum fuel rest). Then make regular refueling.

Important notes:

• Before applying Atomium  HPFP shake the can thoroughly until natural sediments (active components) are totally dissolved.
• After applying Atomium  HPFP drive the vehicle for no less than 20 minutes in any mode (regular operation).
• It is recommended to carry out Atomium treatment of the fuel systems together with engine processing at the same time or sequentially.
• It is not recommended to apply the lubricant at the existence of mechanical breakages of diesel injectors (the belts of injectors cannot be restored).
• Atomium  HPFP is compatible with any type of diesel fuel.
• To provide an optimal level of technical condition of the fuel system it is recommended to apply Atomium  HPFP every 30 000 - 40 000 km of run.

Tribotechnical compounds of ACTIVE series create conditions under which the friction surfaces in engine parts are covered with a metallic protective layer, which has a special structure. Instructions for application

Engine treatment is carried out after every regular oil change. It is necessary to add compound to new motor oil in accordance with the following procedure:

1. Warm up the engine to operating temperature (regular operation).
2. Stop the engine.
3. Stir Tribotechnical compound «Atomium Active Regular» thoroughly until natural sediments (active components) are totally dissolved.
4. Apply compound through the regular oil filling neck. Quantity the compound is determined according to the following scheme:

•  After applying the engine should run (it is recommended to drive the car) for no less than 20 - 25 min in of the regular operation mode.
• After the procedure, you can use the car as usual.

Atomium AGSB restores worn out friction surfaces in various sections of a gearbox. A new metallic layer appears which is more hard and smooth than original surface. Also it is able to retain dense oil film. This improves operating of different mechanical systems. Particularly it allows to solve following tasks.

IN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS:

One of most often causes of shifting delays in automatic transmission is low oil pressure due to the wear of oil pump. To shift gears electronic controller sends a signal to valves in hydraulic block to close some of them and open others. Closing valves removes oil pressure from one friction pack and it gets released. At the same time oil comes through newly open valve and bring pressure to another clutch pack and lock it. If oil pressure is low locking of the second clutch happens with a little delay. For a split of second the torque is lost, car wheels slow down. When torque is caught back the speed of input shaft is faster than the output ones which gives feeling of unpleasant jerk or kick. 

Atomium transmission additive restores internal parts of oil pump, which helps it to provide nominal outlet pressure level. Clutches are locked in proper time which resolves the problem.

No matter at what gear shift the delay happens as it happens because of the same common reason. Restoration of the oil pump helps all of them to work correctly.

The metal protective layer created by Atomium AGSB restores the shape of the gear teeth. It ensures their correct and smooth engagement. A dense and permanent oil film retained by treated surfaces also makes the contact of teeth softer, decreases friction and wear. All this leads to a reduction in micro-impacts, ensures smooth interaction of the gears of the planetary transmission and thus reduces the noise and vibrations.

There is no matter at what exact shift the noise is most distinct and loud. All the gears are lubricated by the same all and Atomium AGSB will treat all of them. The only difference is that most worn out and consequently noisiest parts take longer to recover.

Atomium additive in the same way restores bearings races making them work quieter.

A dense oil film on the surfaces of the teeth ensures their smooth entry into and exit from the engagement, which reduces energy losses during transmission operation. This leads to a reduction in fuel consumption.

IN THE VARIATORS:

Restoring the geometry of the CVT cones, as well as retaining a denser layer of oil on the surface, can prevent chain slippage. It decrease jerks when picking up speed, makes acceleration stable and fast, sufficiently reduce speed of further cones wear.

It should be noted that the transmission oil used in continuously variable transmissions contains special additives that improve the grip of the chain and the surface of the cones. Thus, improving the performance of the lubricant does not weaken the friction between the chain and the cone, but on the contrary: the denser the oil film on the surfaces of the parts, the better the grip.

The protective layer on the surface of the cones has got higher microelasticity and microhardness. Therefore the surface of the cones treated with the compound is much less frayed during use, which prolongs the life of the unit.

HOW IT WORKS

Friction surfaces of metallic parts are not completely plain. On the microlevel there are micropeaks and hollows. When two surfaces rubbing each other they first contact by peaks in multiple points. In small area around such point there happens to be very high temperature and pressure.

Atomium AGSB contains special minerals. When they get into area with high temperature and pressure they get able to activate electronic links in the metallic surface. Thanks to that small particles of metal from the oil are getting attached to the surface. This process repeats in different points gradually creating a solid continuous protective layer all over the surface. The particles of the mineral itself remain in the oil and continue to affect the surface in other areas.

The protective layer is characterized by a porous structure with a large number of micro-hollows. They are filled with oil, which forms a continuous film on it due to surface tension forces. It is able to withstand increased loads on the breakdown, does not drain, even when the unit is idle for a long time. The protective layer itself wears out much slower than the original factory surface due to increased microhardness and microelasticity.

Optimized friction clearances and permanent dense oil film improve performance parameters of the treated mechanism.

HOW TO USE IT

Auto gearbox additive AGSB must be added once to the transmission oil through the standard oil filling hole. To continuously maintain the recovery effects it is recommended to add the compound with each regular oil change in the transmission.

APPLICATION

Tribotechnical Compound Atomium Active Gasoline Plus is designed for application on gasoline engines and LPG engines (including alusil and nikasil coating) of passenger vehicles and light trucks with mileage more than 50 000 km

• It is not recommended to apply the Lubricant at the existence of mechanical breakages of parts and assemblies.

• Atomium Active Gasoline Plus is compatible to any type of engine oils and doesn't change its properties.

• For providing a continuous level of engine protection it is recommended to apply Atomium Active Regular 30 000 - 40 000 km after complete treatment with Atomium Active Gasoline Plus.

• After 100 000 km re-treatment is recommended.

• For turbocharged engines and forced engines, re-treatment is recommended after 50 000-55 000 km.

• To achieve the full level of protection the treatment of all vehicle parts is recommended, such as transmission gears, hydraulic power steering, etc.

 The 1st stage: Add Lubricant Composition Atomium  Active Gasoline Plus to the engine oil 500-1000 km before oil replacement, pour through the oil filling neck (see the graph for calculation), then run the car till the next regular oil replacement (but no less than 500 km). In case of significant oil contamination (identity by the color of the oil on the dipstick or oil spots on filter paper) start the second stage of treatment immediately.

Recommendations (after the 1st Stage): Change oil; Replace oil and air filter.

The 2nd stage: Add Atomium Active Gasoline Plus to the new engine oil (see the graph), and then run the car in a regular mode till the next oil replacement.

The 3rd stage: Add Atomium Active Gasoline Plus to the new engine oil (see the graph), and then run the car in a regular mode till the next oil replacement.

The composition is designed to restore performance and extend the life of the power steering of cars. Extends the life of the hydraulic booster. Restoration of worn parts, protection against wear under increased loads and high ambient temperatures extends the life of the unit by 1.5-2 times.

Effects of application

Being in transmission oil, the composition of the "Power Steering" creates conditions under which a metal protective layer is formed on the friction surfaces. This layer partially restores worn parts of the hydraulic booster pump, optimizes the gaps, allows you to keep a denser oil layer on their surface, and cleans the spool mechanism.

This allows you to normalize the operation of the unit, restore the pressure of the pump, which leads to a number of positive effects:

• The steering wheel is easier to turn. Normalization of the pump operation gives an increase in pressure up to three kilograms, which greatly facilitates turning the steering wheel;
• Reduces noise and vibration. Restoration of the hydraulic booster pump, cleaning of bypass valves reduce noise and vibration during the operation of the hydraulic booster;
• Extends the life of the hydraulic booster. Restoration of worn parts, protection against wear under increased loads and high ambient temperatures extends the life of the unit by 1.5-2 times.

The pump of HPS system should be treated in 2 stages.

The 1st stage:

• Before applying shake the can with compound thoroughly until all the sediments (active components) are totally dissolved.
• Pour half of Atomium HPS through the regular filling neck of the hydraulic power steering (30 ml for 1 liter of hydraulic fluid to be exact).
  
• Start the engine and make 10-15 left-right turns of stirring wheel to maximum degree.
  
• Drive in your normal regime for 15-20 minutes.
  
• Then drive about 1500-2000 kilometers.

The 2nd stage:

It is recommended to change hydraulic fluid and filters (if there are any) after about 2000 km. However it is not obligatory if there are no complaints about the mechanism. In case of fluid replacement – add another half of compound (another 30 ml per 1 liter) following instructions above.

Compound is designed for the treatment of diesel engines of passenger cars with a mileage less than 50,000 kilometres. Suitable for all engine types and designs, including turbocharged and non-turbocharged.
Tribotechnical compound does not react with motor oils and their packages of chemical additives, does not change their properties and characteristics. According to the method of use, the composition can be called "engine additive".

EFFECTS OF APPLICATION

Under the influence of tribo-compound, a protective metal layer is formed on the worn parts, which is able to hold the engine oil film more firmly.

This allows you to solve the following tasks

RESTORE AND EQUALIZE THE COMPRESSION IN THE CYLINDERS

Partial restoring of the shape of the cylinders and a dense oil film on their surface seal the gaps in the cylinder-piston group between the compression rings and the cylinder walls, which provide the necessary gas density.

This prevents the gases from escaping, and consequently restores compression and aligns it with the cylinders. Treatment with tribo-compound can not increase the compression above the nominal provided for this particular engine, which makes the use of the composition safe.

REDUCE THE CONSUMPTION OF OIL BURNING

If the oil consumption is due to other reasons: "hardened" oil seals or destruction of oil-removing caps, tribo-compound will not be able to solve this problem.

The protective layer restores the shape of the surface of the plunger of the hydraulic compensator, optimizes the gaps, which prevents oil breakout and normalizes its pressure.

This ensures high-quality and silent operation of the mechanism.
